Gynecomastia Grade IV
Case# 698

Procedure:  Bilateral mastectomy with free nipple graft

Gynecomastia grade:  IV advanced

Duration Post-op:  5 months

Surgeon: Marc Adajar, M.D.

A part of this procedure is to remove the nipple from the removed breast tissue and replace it onto the new chest.  This patient has a very good “take” of his nipple grafts 6 weeks after surgery.  Eventually, the lighter areas will fill in with new cells.  The incisions of the chest wall will flatten out and become thin lines, especially with proper incision care.
