Dr. Anh-Tuan Truong

Dr. Truong is a triple-board-certified cosmetic surgeon certified in cosmetic surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, as well as general surgery. He is a distinguished Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgeons. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees at the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery and is a fellowship director at Chicago Breast & Body Aesthetics.
Dr. Truong graduated from Notre Dame with a bachelor’s degree, with a double-major in Pre-Medical Studies and English. He earned his M.D. from the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He completed a 5-year surgical residency at the University of Illinois MGH program in Chicago and an additional fellowship in Burn Surgery at the famed Cook County Hospital Trauma Center.
Following a full cosmetic surgery fellowship with the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, Dr. Truong further completed an intensive apprenticeship in aesthetic plastic surgery under Dr. Michael Byun, one of Chicago’s most esteemed board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeons. Under Dr. Byun's expert guidance, Dr. Truong refined his skills in facial rejuvenation, breast and body enhancement, laser surgery, and advanced skin care techniques, further enhancing his expertise and commitment to delivering outstanding natural aesthetic results.
From 2007 to 2014, Dr. Truong built Tampa Bay Surgical Arts into one of the most highly regarded cosmetic surgery practices in the Tampa Bay area. In 2014, Dr. Truong returned to his hometown of Chicago, Illinois to establish Chicago Breast & Body Aesthetics, and founded XSculpt with Dr. Marc Adajar later in 2018, which stands as one of the largest and most respected cosmetic surgery centers in Illinois. Dr. Truong has performed thousands of cosmetic surgical procedures and is regarded as an expert in breast & body enhancement.
