Dr. Gerrit Dunford

Dr. Gerrit Dunford is a General and Minimally Invasive Robotic Surgeon in Chicago, Illinois with Osipova Surgical services and sees patients for hormone health and medical weight loss at Xsculpt. Dr. Dunford was drawn to health optimization as his general surgery practice often mandated that his patients undergo weight loss in order to achieve the best possible results in terms of efficacy and recurrence rates for minimally invasive abdominal wall reconstruction. Dr. Dunford is currently on his personal fitness journey enjoying the benefits of Hormone Replacement Therapy to accelerate his own goals.

Dr. Dunford received a BS in Molecular Biology at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He completed medical school at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in Reno and Las Vegas Nevada in 2016. Dr. Dunford completed his 5 year general surgery residency at Ascension Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago in 2021.

Dr. Dunford holds a medical license in Illinois with operative privileges at Ascension Saint Joseph Chicago, Northshore Swedish Hospital, and Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.
