How much is ChestSculpt™ (male breast reduction) procedure in Chicago?
When you have decided to look into gynecomastia treatment options, you are likely considering the following: the experience of your surgeon, past patient reviews, before and after photos, the location of the surgery center and finally, what is going to cost you.
According to American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the average cost of male breast reduction surgery in 2017 is $3641. Keep in mind the cost does NOT include or take into other necessary fees such as the operating room/facility fee, anesthesia fee and post-surgical garments. You may find that the cost of gynecomastia treatment will vary greatly in Illinois and nationally with costs ranging anywhere from $5,000 to $10,000! Factors that impact cost estimates could include the experience level of the surgeon or location. So getting your surgery done in New York may be a lot higher than getting your surgery done in Chicago, Illinois. If you are curious about pricing in your area, you can sometimes find this information on realself.com, an online community where real members and patients provide information about their personal experiences including what they paid for the procedure at a specific practice. Be very careful about offers that seem too good to be true! If the cost quoted is extremely low, you may get hit with additional fees or the surgeon may not be as experienced in the procedure. Always ask what all is included in the cost to avoid costly surprises.

Does insurance cover gynecomastia surgery?
Many patients ask if insurance will cover their procedure. Although this is not ideal, most insurances consider gyno surgery an elective procedure and typically will not cover the cost of treatment for gynecomastia. Check with your individual insurance provider, we have known some patients to submit a claim to their insurance and we are happy to provide you with necessary documentation if you would like to submit a claim through your insurance.
If you are exploring financing options for your cosmetic procedure, we work with CareCredit
We work with a nationally accredited CareCredit for those that are interested in financing their cosmetic procedure. They offer both short and long-term financing options with convenient payment plans to work with your budget. It’s easy to apply online or over the phone here. If you need any assistance with the application process, our patient coordinators are very familiar with the process and are happy to assist you.
No Obligation, free consultation at XSculpt
Consultations are very common and necessary at every cosmetic surgery practice in order to discuss your body goals and fully evaluate your case. We see patients from all over and understand that it may not be very convenient to schedule an in-person consultation right away so we do offer free online consultations for those that are interested. Once you submit your photos and questions, an XSculpt surgeon will evaluate your case and reply back with a recommendation. If you decide you would like to move forward you will need to schedule an in-person evaluation which is also free. A consultation typically takes 45 minutes to 1 hour. You will meet with both the patient coordinator and your surgeon in person. This is required for all patients who are serious about booking a procedure with us. The surgeon will go over what you can expect before, during, and after the surgery such as the procedure itself, what your recovery process is, and what final result you can expect. The patient coordinator will provide you with a quote for the cost of the procedure and arrange a date for your surgery should you decide to proceed. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or if you are interested in scheduling a consultation.
